Be intentional about showing up

There is someone you know who would appreciate nothing more than to look out in an audience and see your face, or to circulate at a professional event sharing that you’re in attendance as their special guest. It’s one thing to post comments, kudos, or likes, or to send a “good job” to acknowledge an achievement but there’s nothing like BEING there. Take stock of who you’re showing up for and whose endeavors you’re supporting. Chances are they’re a lot like you – either in terms of identity, role, or geography. Commit to making time for other people in your sphere of influence who would appreciate your time and your presence.
