Consider Sponsoring Professional Association Membership Dues For One Year For A Young Black Professional You Know

To be clear, this challenge is about providing exposure, NOT charity. This gesture results in two benefits. For one, professional associations present great opportunities for networking, gaining critical industry insights, and learning and developing useful skills to apply on the job. Involvement in an association can also create opportunities to connect with a more diverse network of peers and potential mentors than young black professionals may find in their own organization. Second, it could be a great indication of your confidence in that individual’s potential to excel and grow. I can’t think of a much better win-win.
